The college library was established in the year 2007.Library is the heart of the college as heart Supplies blood to all parts of the body. Library provides knowledge to all faculty and students. Library is a place of pride at kamala education society’s Pratibha College of Commerce And Computer Studies Chinchwad Pune campus & an essential component of learning, research and education mission. The library is fully computerized with Vriddhi Library Software ERP. It helps in accessing a wide range of materials, both in print and electronic Version. Library has facilities like CD-ROMs, online databases and photocopiers for student’s .The Library has an excellent collection of reference / text books, encyclopedias and periodicals related to the field of Computer and Commerce. The library holds more than 15878volumes with 3685 titles and N-List online databases. The library has got a separate reading hall.

Objectives

To provide curriculum books and to promote educational, research, cultural, recreational and informational requirements of students, teachers, researchers and general users.
To promote reading habits among students.
To promote effective use of library, user education / orientation of students.
Collection and organization of relevant documents recorded in various print and non print media.
To provide full information support to the teaching-learning process in the college.

Book BankScheme:College library has provided book bank scheme. Six/four students should make a group and submit the list group to library. The text books set will be allocated for semester or annual pattern under this scheme. Return all books set of the library within 7 days from last theory/practical examination of the university. Only first five groups of each class will be served. So interested students take the benefit of this scheme. For more information contact /visit alibrary.

Every reader who loses the book must report to library immediately and he will be given onemonthtimeforfindingandreturnofthebook.Incasehefailstoreturnthebookafter one month form the date of reporting, he will be charged a fine. Rules

Keep silence whenever you enter in the library or reading hall and don’t disturb toothers.
Students are supposed to keep their bags, personal reading material and other belongings outside the library. **THE LIBRARY STAFF IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OR DAMAGE OF STUDENTS BELONGINGS**
Keep your bag at property counter, and write your name in the entryregister.
Use of mobile in the library is strictlyprohibited.
Wearing I-card is compulsory whenever you come toLibrary.
After reading newspaper keep it on Newspaperstand.
Students are allowed to issue 3 books for the period of 8days from the library by producing I-card / library card at the issue counter.
Library card is a receipt for yourbook.
Library card is nottransferable.
Students should not enter the library without I-card.
A new I-card /library card can be issued by paying a fine of Rs.100/- in the account department and showing the receipt of the same in Library.
Rate of book for late - fine of Rs.1/- per daywill be charged afterdue.
Old-Question papers, Syllabus, Project Reports, CD/DVDs, Magazine & Periodicals, and Newspaper Clipping Files are issued for Library Reading only.
No library material can be issued by any person on other person’s I-Card.
A book issued can be renewed on or before the due date. The same Book can be renewed if there is no claim on it by another user.
Every reader who loses the book must report to library immediately and he will be giving one month time for finding and return of the book. In case he fails to return the book after one month from the date of reporting, he will be charged a fine, per book till he replaces with the new book of sametitles.
