Exam Committee Introduction
Objectives of the Committee
  1. To ensure smooth functioning of the examinations work as per the guidelines issued by the SPPU.
  2. To inform and conduct Internal, External, Practical, Oral or Viva exams as per the university schedule with transparency.
  3. To provide exam-related information to students right from exam form filling, submission, exam schedule and to make mark list available.
  4. To solve the exam-related grievances of the students, if any in internal assessment.
  5. To maintain exam related record.
Activities of the Committee
  1. Under guidelines issued by the SPPU, conducts Practical / Oral / Viva examinations.
  2. Viva date and theory paper scheduled posted on the website and official telegram channel of PCCCS to inform students.
  3. Conducts a Formal Meeting with all program coordinators and Faculty members to discuss exam work planning and schedule as per the university calendar.
  4. Circulars about exams, norms, and timetables shared to students.

Instructions for Candidates
  • Candidates are required to be present at the examination centre THIRTY MINUTES before the stipulated time.
  • Candidates are forbidden from taking any material into the examination hall that can be treated as a malpractice.
  • Candidates are requested to see the Notice Board at their center of examination regularly for changes that may be notified later in the program.
  • No request shall be granted for change in time or date for the University Examination on any ground.
  • Candidates are requested to note the Day, Date and Time of Paper.
  • Candidates are permitted to use stencils at the time of examination.
  • The exchange of side-rules, drawing instruments or other materials used in the examination hall is not permitted. Candidates must bring their own instruments.
  • Use of non-programmable battery operated electronic pocket size Calculator is allowed. Exchange of Calculators is not allowed. Electronic devices including mobile phones are not allowed.
Instructions for Supervisor Before the Examination
  • Punctuality: Supervisors must report to the examination center at least 30 minutes before commencement.
  • Instructions to Students: Supervisors must give clear instructions regarding rules, including the correct pasting of barcode stickers.
  • Verification: Supervisor must verify students’ ID cards, hall tickets, stamp, bench and seating arrangement, correct question paper and answer sheets before circulation.
  • Unauthorized Materials: Supervisors must ensure no candidate carries unauthorized material such as mobile phones, electronic gadgets, books, or scribbled notes.
During the Examination
  • Vigilance: Supervisors must remain vigilant and actively monitor all candidates throughout the entire examination to prevent any malpractice.
  • Discipline: Maintaining a high standard of discipline and silence in the examination hall is a primary duty.
  • Restrictions: No student should be allowed to enter the examination hall after 30 minutes from the start.
  • Students are generally not permitted to leave the examination hall within 1 hour.
  • Handling Queries and Emergencies: Handle student queries and emergencies (e.g., health issues) according to established procedures.
  • No Cell Phone Use: The use of personal cell phones by supervisors is strictly prohibited during examination hours.
