Ragging is considered a heinous crime and a criminal offense in India, as declared by the Supreme Court. Pratibha College of Commerce & Computer Studies stands as a testament to the successful creation of a ragging-free campus. The college firmly believes in fostering a harmonious relationship among its students and vehemently condemns any form of ragging. To ensure a safe and inclusive environment, an anti-ragging cell comprising the Principal and other staff members has been established. This cell works tirelessly to sensitize students about the detrimental effects of ragging and the legal consequences associated with it.
Pratibha College actively promotes awareness through orientation programs conducted at the beginning of each academic year and in the first semester. These programs educate students about the repercussions of ragging, instilling a sense of responsibility and empathy within them. Additionally, the college ensures strict vigilance in the hostel premises, where students from diverse cultural and regional backgrounds learn to respect and accept their peers. By taking comprehensive measures, Pratibha College of Commerce & Computer Studies has effectively created an environment that prioritizes the well-being and safety of its students, making it a truly ragging-free campus.
