Placement Committee

The Placement Committee at Pratibha College of Commerce and Computer Studies comprises dedicated faculty members and student representatives who work collaboratively to ensure smooth placement operations, industry interaction, and career guidance for students.

1. Placement Cell – Aims and Objectives

The Placement and Training Cell of Pratibha College of Commerce and Computer Studies is committed to enhancing students' employability and career readiness through structured training and strong industry engagement.

The Cell aims to:

• Organize ON/OFF/Pool campus recruitment drives for final-year students across BBA, BBA(IB), B.Com, BA, B.Sc(CS), BSc(CDS), BSc(Cyb.Sec), BSc(CA), BSc(IT), B.Com(CA), BBA(CA), BSc(Reg), BSc(Chem), BSc(DS), BSc(Stats), and M.Sc(CS), MSc(CA), MSc(DS), MSc(Stats), MSc(Chem), MSc(Cyb.Sec) programs.
• Provide comprehensive training in aptitude, technical skills, group discussions, interviews, and soft skills.
• Conduct career guidance and counseling sessions with industry experts and professionals.
• Maintain continuous industry interaction through guest lectures, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
• Collaborate with industry for live projects, internships, capstone projects, research activities, and industrial visits.

Through focused training and strong corporate partnerships, the Placement and Training Cell ensures students are well-prepared to meet industry expectations and build successful careers.

Program-wise Aims & Objectives

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)

• Prepare students for careers in management, marketing, HR, finance, sales, and entrepreneurship.
• Provide training in aptitude, business communication, group discussions, and interview skills.
• Organize industry interactions, live projects, internships, and guest lectures.
• Offer career counseling and mentoring for leadership and managerial roles.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)

• Enhance employability in finance, accounting, banking, taxation, auditing, and commerce-related domains.
• Conduct focused training in quantitative aptitude, analytical ability, and professional communication.
• Facilitate industry-led workshops, seminars, certification programs, and internships.
• Provide practical exposure through industrial visits and applied commerce projects.

BA (Bachelor of Arts)

• Equip students for careers in corporate services, administration, media, education, and public services.
• Strengthen communication skills, personality development, and workplace readiness.
• Conduct career guidance sessions, expert talks, and counseling programs.
• Encourage participation in internships, projects, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.

B.Sc (IT, CA, CS, CDS, Statistics)

• Prepare students for technical and analytical roles in IT, software, data analysis, and applied computing.
• Provide training in programming fundamentals, technical aptitude, and logical reasoning.
• Promote participation in live projects, hackathons, workshops, and internships.
• Collaborate with industry for skill-based training and capstone projects.

M.Sc (IT, CA, CS, CDS, Statistics, Data Science, Cyber Security)

• Equip postgraduate students with advanced technical expertise and industry-ready skills.
• Offer domain-specific training, advanced programming, tools, and certification-oriented programs.
• Promote research projects, capstone projects, and industry-sponsored assignments.
• Facilitate placements with specialized roles and competitive packages, including Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).

Overall Objective: To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by providing structured training, continuous industry engagement, and career-focused guidance — ensuring students across all programs graduate as skilled, confident, and job-ready professionals.

2. Placement Policy for Final Placements

To ensure a fair, transparent, and disciplined placement process, the following Final Placement Policy is implemented:

1. Eligibility

• Final-year students who meet academic, attendance, and company-specific criteria may participate in campus placements.
• Students must complete all mandatory training sessions, assessments, and placement formalities conducted by the Placement Cell.

2. Registration

• Students must register within the stipulated deadline and submit accurate personal, academic, and contact details.
• Once registered, students are expected to actively participate in the placement process.

3. Attendance & Discipline

• Attendance for pre-placement talks, tests, interviews, and training sessions is compulsory.
• Students must adhere to professional conduct, dress code, and punctuality during placement activities.

4. Job Offers

• Students receiving a final placement offer are expected to accept and withdraw from further processes, as per institutional norms.
• Acceptance of an offer is considered final and binding.

5. Multiple Offers

• The Placement Cell will follow a defined policy based on package, role, and organizational category, ensuring maximum opportunities for all students.

6. Communication

• All official communication will be made through the Placement Cell via notice boards, emails, or official messaging channels.
• Students are advised to regularly check updates and respond within deadlines.

7. Company Rules

• Students must strictly follow the selection process and guidelines defined by the recruiting organization.
• Any misrepresentation of information may lead to disqualification from the placement process.

8. Institutional Authority

• The Department of Training and Placements reserves the right to modify or update the placement policy as per institutional requirements and industry practices.
