The department was founded in 2008 with 20 students and has seen significant growth, now having over 1000 students. It provides courses like B.Com, M.Com. and Ph. a) No Candidates shall be admitted to the First Year of the B.Com Degree Program (2024 Pattern) unless he / she has passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Maharashtra State Board or equivalent or University with English as a passing Course.

Introduction
The Department of Commerce at Pratibha College of Commerce & Computer Studies (PCCCS) is a well-established program offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The department was founded in 2008 with 20 students and has seen significant growth, now having over 1000 students. It provides courses like B.Com, M.Com. and Ph. The institute under the guidelines of UGC and Savitribai Phule Pune University is keen to implant the culture of honesty and transparency in all its institutional activities as well as is keen to monitor an intellectual dishonesty like plagiarism. As per the University guidelines, every PhD thesis shall be evaluated for plagiarism through Urkund / any authorized software to ensure research originality.
Responsibilities of a Research Investigator / Guide: A Research investigator / Guide should provide timely guidance and advice to research scholars and make them aware of their responsibility for the integrity of the research activity. Research guide should take all reasonable steps to check the details of research procedures, the validity and authenticity of the data or observations reported by research scholars, including periodic reviews of primary and secondary data as well as reports prepared by scholars.
Responsibilities of a Research Scholar: Research work will be considered as a breach of research integrity if the reported data fail to support the reported conclusions. The data must be authentic and be based on outcome of original activities of researcher and not from other sources.
